Samantha Garner
Samantha Garner is a fiction and freelance writer living in Alberta, Canada. She has been writing both online and for print publications since 2000. Book reviews and articles have been published in FFWD Weekly, WestWord Magazine, inventorspot.com, hugg.ca and litnews.today.com. Samantha's fiction and poetry have been published in The Fiddlehead and Broken Pencil.
Samantha sat on the board of directors of the Alexandra Writers' Centre Society for two years, as well as on the editorial collective of the organization's 25th anniversary publication. She is currently a member of the Writers Guild of Alberta.
Aside from writing and thinking about writing, Samantha enjoys medieval history podcasts, talk radio and long walks in bad shoes. She is also trying to rekindle her love of knitting and bookbinding, to varying degrees of success.
